Interview with our newest Storage Authority Franchise owner, Eric U. from Maryland

  We ask our new owners now that they have completed the discovery process and are looking for land, could they please share a little bit about their experience of getting through the discovery and why they choose to become a Storage Authority Franchise owner?

Question 1:   Are you excited to get started?   And how many hours a week are you planning on spending looking for land to make your self-storage goals come true?

Answer:  Bam! Working already looking for land and excited for my second act. Plan on spending 10-15 hours a week looking for land. Is that enough?

Question: 2 What was the major reason you choose self-storage and decided to team up with Storage Authority?

Answer:  I looked at several business ventures and decided self-storage was best for me because of the low operating costs. Plus it’s a real estate play.

Question: 3  How did your impression of self-storage and franchising change from the beginning to the end of the Storage Authority Discovery Process?

Answer:  I was impressed from my first interactions with Garrett and Marc. True professionals who I feel can help me get this business off the ground.

Question: 4  Do you have any recommendations to improve the Storage Authority discovery process?

Answer:  Nope.

Question: 5 Most Franchisee owners get started because self-storage can be the major catalyst for Wealth (Time & Money). Can you share one or two reasons or goals why you are willing to commit your time for a second income?

Answer:  In looking for new business opportunities, self-storage kept coming back as the business for me. Love the idea of a real estate play and having a strong team behind me guiding me, etc. Even better that I won’t have to manage lots of people.
